Rationale
As a graduate teacher, I believe in providing equitable learning opportunities for all students. My teaching pedagogies have been developed through an understanding of diversity in the classroom and the need to cater to students from various linguistic, cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. As Artefact 1 best highlights, I aim to develop teaching and learning strategies that cater to diverse visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles through the use of various resources that engage students. I also aim to effectively utilise ICT to support and innovate 21st century learners, as well as developing lessons and programs that demonstrate an understanding of the outcomes, general capabilities and cross curriculum priorities of the new curriculum. |
